Officer Primary School is Hillstowe’s local government primary school. There are currently 169 students enrolled and because of this small school population, Officer Primary School can offer intimate class sizes.

The school’s academic program is complemented by a range of extracurricular programs that provide opportunities for students to explore and develop their strengths and interests. St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School

25 Bayview Rd, Officer VIC

St Brigid’s Catholic Primary School is one of three schools in St. Michael’s Parish Berwick. In addition to the Victorian curriculum, as a Catholic school, Religious Education is an important part of the student experience at St Brigid’s.

Officer Secondary College

Officer Secondary College is Hillstowe’s local government secondary school. As a part of its curriculum, students will be offered a range of pathways either through a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), Vocational Education and Training (VET) or Higher Education pathways.

St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar School

St Margaret’s Berwick Grammar is a leading non-denominational independent private school for boys and girls, from Early Learning to Year 12. One of the key features of the school is smaller class sizes. Additionally, the primary school offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IBPYP).

Applicants to the Grammar school are placed on a waiting list, with the priority of places provided based on the date of application, if they are a sibling of a current student, and children and grandchildren of past students. You can find further information on the admissions process here.

Heritage College

Heritage College is a private Christian School that provides Christian education from Early Learning to Year 12. In addition to the VCE senior secondary qualification, Heritage College also offers the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL).
